Socrates Corrupts the Youth

Last night i left my den and made the journey upstairs, as i do everynight before i turn in for the night. I sprawled out, tucked myself in, and picked up a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. After i finished with my nightly chapter i decided to close my eyes and attempt to get some sleep. The problem is everytime i would shut my eyes crazy thoughts flew through my mind, and i couldnt clear my mind in order to sleep. "maybe ill just watch some youtube videos until im good and tired", well at 2 a.m. after my fair share of youtube videos, i finally tried again. FAIL. I thought to myself that it was a good idea to get something to drink, so i stumbled down the stairs and found myself a nice cold ginger ale. I also decided i would try sleeping on the couch in the den. FAIL. Finnaly after three more trips up and down the stairs in one hour intervals, i found my way to my bed at 5 a.m. and fell asleep. Well that doesnt do well for a day of school, especially when my AP chem teacher gives us a 75 question AP test, to "see where we are, and what we still need to review". I woke up from a nap about 10 minutes ago and i am writing this in hopes that by the time i am done, my dinner will be waiting for me, and i can return to bed. I also want to fulfill a task which me and my friend have embarked on to blog once a day for the rest of the year. Come summer time - see ya blog. But at least i can try to be semi-productive in the school week. Since my lack of sleep affected my driving i had to cancel plans with my phillips exeter friend, we had planned to go to best buy so i can buy a Flip HD camera. I highly recommend you check out that link. I am also struggling to work out all the college stuff. I got into 4/4 of the schools i have heard back from, and i have already eliminated two of them (siena and university of hartford). So i have it narrowed down to UNH, and Wells (mostly becuase they offered my 60K), and i would very much like to go to Bard (reach school (big time)), and i really like the study abroad program at Arcadia. But we will have to see what happens with those schools.
First day back at school and every class is back on the dusty trail of learning, and teaching the future. But really, i dont see how much i am really going to learn in these last 6 months of school. I fell asleep in school today, and it didnt affect me at all. I AM BECOMING LAZY (some people call it "senioritis" but i call it YOUTUBE FEVER, with a little bit of harry potter. Interestingly enough, i have strayed from listening to Harry and the Potters, and devoting every waking second to Harry Potter related activities. Instead it has changed to YOUTUBE and specifically, fiveawesomegirls. they are pretty awesome. I especially like lauren and kristina becuase i think that i can relate to them with the Wizard Rock and their insane obsession with Harry Potter. Hopefully i will be able to get an ample amount of sleep tonight whilst reading the first two chapters of Wuthering Heights, and finishing my vocabulary unit.
